This is our 3rd stay at the Mistal and I can’t recommend it highly enough, the facilities are first class especially the sumptuous bed which afford the best nights sleep ever. Jeff the owner is fantastic and really helpful, advising me on all things fishing as I am a complete novice. The fishing lake is great, even if you don’t fish it is great to have an evening stroll around it looking at the wildlife and lovely backdrop vista of the hills and countryside. We had some great days out at Whitby, Richmond and Thirsk. This cottage and location are our guilty pleasure and we try to make a pilgrimage once a year. Kind regards, Stirling.
